Bio:
Jürgen Bank was born in 1961 in Linz, Austria, as the oldest of four children. At age 18 he moved to Hamburg, Germany. He started his studies in Psychology at Phillipps-University in Marburg, Germany in 1982. Throughout this period, he was an avid photographer and absorbed the art of the 20th century in museums around the world.

Bank received a Diploma of Psychologist in 1988 and worked as a therapist, consultant, trainer and teacher of Psychology. Artistic expression became less important during this time in his life. In 1998 he moved from Frankfurt, Germany, to Boston, MA and finally settled in Boulder County, Colorado to work as an industrial psychologist.

In 2001 Bank re-discovered art as a means of expressing the relevant and of processing his personal life challenges. He started exploring photography and installations.

Bank is active in the local art scene and enjoys his analytical and artistic streaks.
